The Build

Let me introduce you to my amazing carpenter Sam Carter (@imthatcarpenter), whose skill set extends far, far beyond trays!

 

When starting up last year, and in the spirit of trying to be as environmentally aware as possible, it was fundamental to me that (aside from the fabric) my ottoman trays were made 100% in the UK.  Not only is Sam's workshop less than a mile down the road, he fabricates and sprays the trays in one location thus dramatically reducing the carbon footprint.

 

Handmade in small batches, Sam is an absolute perfectionist and when you pick up one of my trays, you can really feel the quality and workmanship.  I'm happy (and ashamed) to confirm, they even pass the 'drop' test.
